Events
Over the past few years, we have had a variety of wonderful events at St. Andrew's Stone Church, including Easter Sunrise Services, two wonderful concerts by young soprano, Ali Armstrong, and several beautiful weddings. Of course, we always look forward to the annual Christmas service. The 2011 service was held on Saturday, December 17th at 7:00 p.m, with the most people we have hosted in a few years. The service featured the beautiful voices of mezzo soprano Elizabeth Bryan of Orangeville, and soprano Grecia Mayers-Kendal of Belfountain. The congregation was absolutely delighted by two very young sisters, Kennedy (age 5) and Alix (age almost 7) singing "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph", along with their brothers Jake (age 9) and Mitchell (age 11). Mitchell then played a lovely violin version of "Silent Night". As always, there were scripture readings and carols, and a wonderful childhood reminisence by Paul Aird . The evening ended, as always, by warmth and chat around the wood stove, while we enjoyed hot cider and cookies. A beautiful part of the Christmas season
.

"A Christmas Carol" was performed to a full house and much acclaim on December 11th, by the Humber River Shakespeare Company. This is a very talented group of actors, who made do with no backstage, no dressing rooms, small stage, and still managed to thrill the whole audience. We are hoping they will consider a return visit during 2012!

Events for 2012
We are excited to be preparing for our second annual Scottish Day, which will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012. We have already confirmed several wonderful performers, including pipers, fiddlers, and stepdancers. We can offer you an afternoon of all things Scottish, including traditional Scottish shortcake. You don't have to be Scottish to attend!

The church has been booked for a spring wedding. We are proud to be able to offer St. Andrew’s as a charming venue for country weddings.
